1. Coverage
1.1 Warranty Duration
• Used – Tested: 3 Months from date of purchase.
• Refurbished: 12 Months from date of purchase.
• Brand New: 12 Months from date of purchase.
(Warranty duration is specific to each item and will be stated on the invoice.)

1.2 What’s Not Covered
This warranty does NOT cover:
• Accidental damage.
• Performance parts (unless specifically stated in writing at the time of sale).
• Damage caused by the vehicle, including but not limited to contamination from
bad fuel, damage from faulty related components, or electrical surges.
• Misuse, such as installation in an incorrect vehicle.
• Incorrect installation or use of non-approved installation equipment.
• Parts used in competition, racing, or off-road conditions (unless explicitly stated
in writing).

2. Repair or Replacement

2.1 Inspection Process
If you suspect a part is defective, you must remove it from the vehicle and return it to Diesel Parts Australia for testing.
2.2 Testing Outcomes
• If testing confirms the part is not defective, you are responsible for all test fees.
The part will not be released until these fees are paid in full.
• If testing confirms the part is faulty, you may choose:
o A replacement part of equal value; or
o A full refund of the purchase price.

2.3 Labour Costs
Labour for removal, installation, or related work is not covered under any
circumstances.

3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Proof of Purchase
A valid tax invoice, receipt, or official proof of purchase must be provided for all claims.
3.2 Proper Usage & Installation
Parts must be installed in the correct vehicle using the correct tools and equipment,
and in accordance with manufacturer or Diesel Parts Australia guidelines.
3.3 Maintenance
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is maintained to a standard that
prevents damage to installed parts (e.g., clean fuel systems, functional filtration,
correct pressures).

4. Exclusions
This warranty will be void if:
• The product is damaged through accidents, negligence, misuse, improper
installation, or natural disasters.
• The product has been altered, modified, or repaired by an unauthorised third
party.
• Damage results from environmental factors such as corrosion, water ingress, or
contamination.
• The product has been fitted to a vehicle for which it was not intended.

5. How to Claim
5.1 Claim Process
To submit a claim:
1. Complete the warranty claims form at:

2. Contact Diesel Parts Australia by phone on (08) 9308 3555 / 0410 670 480 or
email at info@dieselpartsaustralia.com.
3. Return the part, securely packaged, with all relevant documentation.
5.2 Shipping Costs
If the returned part is deemed defective, Diesel Parts Australia will reimburse
reasonable return freight costs.

6. Limitations of Liability
6.1 Diesel Parts Australia will not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of income,
business, or use of vehicle).
• Costs associated with vehicle downtime, towing, diagnostic work, or travel.
• Any damage caused by continued use of a defective part after the defect was
identified.
6.2 The maximum liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the original purchase
price of the product.

7. Special Conditions for High-Risk Applications
Parts used in high-performance, racing, off-road, or modified vehicles are sold as-is
and carry no warranty unless otherwise stated in writing by Diesel Parts Australia at the
time of sale.
